This high quality four bedroom log cabin home is located in the heart of the four-season resort of Mont Tremblant, just 90 minutes north of Montreal in the beautiful Laurentian mountains of Quebec. Montreal is only 6 and a half hours flying time from the UK or France. The cabin is available to rent throughout the year. The property has two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, en-suite bathroom to the main bedroom, and two further bathrooms. The large open plan living accommodation of dining area, lounge and well-equipped kitchen opens onto a wrap-around balcony with views through the forest and to the mountains. Nestling in a one acre site within the forest, the cabin is part of the ‘Cote Nord’ resort, rising from the shore of Lac Superieur. Residents have private beach access to the lake and the Boule River. The Auberge Caribou restaurant/bar acts as a club house for residents and is a short walk from the cabin in a fantastic setting on the lake shore. Only 500 yards from the cabin is a shared swimming pool and tennis court complex. Mont Tremblant is a superb year round resort with a vast array of summer and winter activities for adults and children alike. The resort has been voted No.1 Ski resort in East North America many years in succession and the cabin is just 5-10 minutes from the north side slopes. Mont Tremblant National Park is just 10 minutes away also, with beautiful forest, rivers and lakes and a wide choice of true outdoor activities. The whole area is a wonderful summer destination whether you want a relaxing time at one with nature or an active holiday in the great outdoors. With seven high class golf courses within 20 minutes of the cabin this is also golfing heaven!

There are 4 generous bedrooms consisting of two doubles and two twin rooms. The master double bedroom on the top floor has an en-suite bathroom. There is a further twin bedroom on this level. On the lower floor there is another double bedroom and a second twin bedroom.

The middle level incorporates a superb open-plan living room dining area and kitchen. The living room has comfortable sofa and chairs, CD player, all gathered around a feature log fireplace for those warm winter evenings after skiing. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and overlooks the wrap-around balcony with views through the forest to the mountains. A separate ‘snug’ living room downstairs has a TV with satellite system and DVD player.

The cabin is situated on a secluded one acre site within the ‘Cote Nord’ resort. At the base of the forest site is Lac Superieur, a beautiful lake perfect for summer swimming, fishing and boating. Here you will find the ‘Auberge Caribou’ a welcoming hotel, bar and restaurant with an excellent reputation. During Summer in Tremblant, you have access to the lake via a small private beach. There is also a sun deck, and children’s play area, plus a jetty where you can sit watching the sun set behind the mountains across the lake. There is also a brand new pool and tennis court complex just 500 yards from the cabin with free access.
This really is a beautiful part of the world with endless possibilities to create whatever kind of holiday you wish. Located in the East of Canada, Quebec is also closer than you think, with flight times from the UK to Montreal only 6 hours 30 minutes.

Activities
There is plenty to keep your children entertained even on the ‘Cote Nord’ site where the cabin is located. There is a pool complex and tennis court just a short walk from the cabin. Down on Lake Superieur they can swim safely in the lake or fish from the jetty while you relax on the beach. Our kids loved just exploring the forest right outside the cabin.
In Mont Tremblant Resort the summer ‘Luge’ is a favourite and great fun for all ages. Or get the children to try ‘Acrobranche’ an outdoor climbing and hire wires adventure in the forest or set off together cycling or in-line skating along the many trails throughout the resort and beyond. Also in the resort you will find ‘Aqua La Source’ pool and fitness centre with kids pools, mini-golf, a climbing wall, a movie theatre and lots of places to eat with kids menus. After so much activity why not relax on the large beach on Lac Tremblant while the children swim, canoe or play in the beautiful lake.
In the National Park just 10 minutes from the cabin and on the mountain the children will love all the activities on offer. A favourite is the scenic gondola ride to the mountain top. See deer, beaver, chipmunk on the forest trails in the National Park, or swim, fish, canoe or kayak in the lakes and rivers. Your cabin at Cote Nord and the Mont Tremblant area are perfect for a fun packed family holiday.
Skiing
Take your winter vacation in Mont Tremblant, Quebec and experience all that the No1 Resort in Eastern North America has to offer. Three ski areas, including the world famous Mont Tremblant Mountain, provide a range of ski trails and snow parks to suit all abilities. For the non-skier there are also many other winter activities.
The mountain and resort village are operated by Intrawest, also owners and operators of Whistler Blackcomb. The mountain has an elevation of 875 metres, with skiing and boarding on four faces. There are 94 runs (the longest of which is 6km) including 16 novice runs, 31 intermediate and miles of expert terrain. There is also a superb snow park with 18 acres of ramps, rails and jumps, plus the 130m Olympic calibre super-pipe. The 13-lift state of the art system is designed to handle over 27,000 skiers per hour with the main Gondola, plus high-speed quads and magic carpets. There is snow from November to mid April, combining the natural falls with 885 snow guns across the hill. The North Side of the mountain offers skiers and snowboarders the best riding conditions due to the minimal sun exposure and tons of natural snow. Parking is also a lot easier, yet you can ski the whole mountain from here. There is also a good restaurant, shop and ski hire outlet. Our log cabin is only 10 minutes drive in winter from the North side car park!
