Having spent the day sightseeing or searching for that elusive charming Andalucian holiday cottage or even the perfect retirement home, where better to relax than by the side of our pool in our luscious sub tropical perfumed garden.
Or in the cooler season, lounging in front of our cosy wood burning stove with a glass of Rioja.
Eating out, there is an amazing number and variety of local restaurants and bars to enjoy. This is the only area now in Spain where the local bars still give a free Tapa (a bite of food) to be enjoyed when buying a drink.

Travel
Some form of transport, a car or bike would be a neccesity for your stay here. There is no bus service but it is near enough to Motril to get a taxi back and your 'host' will provide transport into Motril at a reasonable cost.

Restrictions on smoking: Smoking restricted. For the comfort of our guests smoking is permitted only outside the house in the garden.
External facilities: There are pool loungers with cushions and outside tables and chairs for al fresco meals and a large chesterfield sofa on the covered patio for relaxing.

The 'Los Mariscos' golf course is 15 minutes by car on the beach to the west of Motril.
 
Further Details
If your choice is for sight seeing then the famouse Alhambra Palaces and Gardens of the Generalife in Granada must not be missed. The impressive caves along the coast at Nerja, Almunecar with it`s Roman history, Tropical Bird Park, Aqua Park, large Friday Marketis just along the coast. Drive up to the Alpujarra and visit the whitewashed villages in the area made famous by Chris Stewart in his book `Driving over Lemons`.

Closer at home, The American Park, The Sugar Museum, Tuesday & Friday Markets and the Indoor Municipal Market in Motril.

Not forgetting `Sol y Nieve` in the Sierra Nevada for skiing and surf boarding from November to April. It`s possible to ski in the morning and be basking on the beach in the sun in the afternoon.
