Four individually designed self-catering holiday cottages of varying sizes have been converted from two traditional stone barns dating from the eighteenth century. All are tastefully restored and enjoy fantastic views across the valley.

Markwell is a working farm and we would be delighted to tell you all about the Markwell pedigree Suffolk flock, the ponies and the goats. Spectacular views are seen from every window.

Special Notes
Disabled AccessRestricted. We are able to offer restricted facilities for disabled and/or wheelchair access. The Dairy Cottage is on a single level. This is of particular benefit to those with limited mobility. Access for wheelchairs is provided with the use of wider doors, although a helper would be required.
Child FriendlyYes. Our facilities are child friendly. Whilst we consider our accommodation to be child friendly, good parental supervision should be shown at all times. A travel cot is available by prior arrangement.
Pets AllowedRestricted. Some pets can be accommodated. Dogs welcome but are not to be left in the cottage unattended.

There is a shop/Po in the village 1.5 miles away. A larger supermarket and banks are available 4 miles away. We recommend you enjoy this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for at least part of your stay at Markwell. Individually colour coded marked walks ranging from 1600 - 3400 metres (1-2 miles) allow different sections of the farm to be explored.
