Beside the private patio area which has table, chairs, sun canopy and BBQ, there is the communal area which has a brick built BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.
The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May -September.
The gardens are the ideal place to either relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while sipping a glass a wine.
There is a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, badminton, swings, boules pit, swing ball, football net, and basketball in the gardens, along with numerous games. In the covered veranda area there is table soccer, table tennis and a darts board. The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play.
Just down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside or a cycle track that takes you into Fougeres forest. | | Additional information | : | Plum Tree is one of four self catering cottages in Brittany that have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse.

Although we are in a quiet location, we are only 5 mins away from the village centre with its bar-tabac-restaurant-shop. And only 10 mins from Louvigne du Desert with its, shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel, water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Chateaux, and numerous places of interest.
We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a house-hunting trip, that romantic getaway or that family holiday, group bookings also available.
There really is something for everyone in this beautiful part of Brittany. |
