Disabled Access

Restricted. We are able to offer restricted facilities for disabled and/or wheelchair access. Derwent Cottage has been designed with the partially disabled in mind. Parking is close to the cottage and from the car there is a ramp to the front door. The accommodation is all on the same level with no internal steps. All the doors are wide enough for wheelchairs.

Yes. Our facilities are child friendly. We are very child friendly especially to well behaved children! We encourage our visitors to feed the free range chickens and collect the eggs. We also have some Highland cattle that like to be admired and under supervision occasionally hand fed.

We ask our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition. Our cleaner comes in prior to changeover to fully clean Derwent Cottage.

3 & 4 night Short Breaks
3 night breaks arrival on Friday and departure on Monday.
4 night breaks arrival on Monday and departure on Friday.
Arrival and Departure times – as we complete a thorough cleaning of the cottage on departure we would ask you to observe the arrival and departure times. If you need to arrive earlier, please let us know and we will always do our very best to accommodate you.

Terms - when booking direct 50% payable at time of booking

Refunds - when booking direct if cancelled more than 90 days prior to planned/booked arrival date. A full refund of the deposit will be returned immediately.
