Caleta Beach

The large crescent beach which is fantastic if you have small children as the bay is very shallow.

Admire the sun going down from the hot tub for the exclusive use of our guests! Watch the sunrise over the golf course still snuggled in your comfy bed! Enjoy meals or a barbie on the large verandah!
Caleta de Fuste (or Castillo as some folk still call it after the 17th Century castle at the tip of the crescent beach), is only a small town but they've expanded up the hill. There are quiet beaches and lagoons and the large crescent beach (which is busier but not exactly crowded or noisy) which is fantastic if you have small children as the bay is very shallow. My favourite pastime is striding along the fabulous cliff top walk that they have developed with amazing ocean views, chipmunks and egrets. You are left with that 'good to be alive' feeling when you return refreshed and rejuvenated from a stroll.

Nearest Airport	:	15 minutes drive.

Travel

Free bus leaves from the Golf Club (just 2 minutes walk from Casa Felicidad) for Caleta, every hour during the day. A taxi into town will only cost £2 each way.
Car Hire is is very reasonable - we've just paid £75 for the week and the airport is only 15 minutes easy drive from Casa Felicidad - for more details please see our website, link below.

Restrictions on smoking	:	No smoking. For the benefit of all our guests we politely request no smoking inside the apartvilla.
Bedrooms	:	Bedroom 1 - kingsize bed with doors to patio. Bedroom 2 - twin beds with door to patio. Lounge with sofabed.
Bathrooms	:	Large pretty bathroom with bath/shower, WC, wash basin and bidet.
Living Rooms	:	The dining room is very pleasant and airy and leads through to the lounge with double patio doors, Sofa bed, TV/DVD and Satellite (we subscribe to Canal Plus which offers various news channels and films in English), the view however from the lounge is stunning as it looks East over the garden then golf course to the sea. Far better than the 'telly'! Fully fitted kitchen and utility area with washing machine.

External facilities	:	Pretty patio and gardens to front and rear. We eat every single breakfast on the large verandah which is great and we hope you will enjoy many happy meals there and perhaps throw a prawn or two onto the 'barbie'. Not only can you enjoy the large shared swimming pool adjacent to Casa Felicidad but we have installed a HOT TUB for the exclusive use of our guests. Relax into it at the end of a hard day's enjoyment and sigh contentedly as you admire the sun going down over the mountains, perhaps with a glass of your favourite something (plastic glasses of course, please) by your side.

Golf

Golf right on your doorstep! Casa Felicidad looks onto the eighteenth fairway of Fuerteventura golf course.
This lovely golf course is a good test for both low and high handicap players, particularly in the breeze. The second and third holes have narrow fairways and a ditch that acts like a magnet! There is plenty of water to attract your ball but also the chance to open your shoulders on several tees. Par 3s can all be tricky, either because you play into the wind, or because of the cunningly placed water, or both!!

Further Details

Pop into Caleta de Fuste for shopping, a great choice of bars or choose a meal from a variety of cuisines. The Commercial Atlantico your nearest shopping centre is a twenty five minute stroll away with a big Spar and an interesting and eclectic mix of shops. Also cinema complex and ten pin bowling. Scuba diving and windsurfing by the Marina.
Corralejo is the busiest place on the island but makes for an interesting day trip - especially if you want to pick up some bargains in the shops. Takes about an hour to drive there. We had a fabulous tropical lunch at the Waikiki restaurant right on the beach. Drinking the tropical crush of strawberries, oranges and mango was sublime whilst the white sand tickled my bare toes.
Visit the Oasis for a wonderful day out - your children will love the parakeeta show and camel safari.

Casa Felicidad is only a fifteen minute drive away from the airport and the key can be picked up from a keysafe at the apartvilla. You could be on the beach within an hour or so of landing!
