Moravske Toplice is a small picturesque village situated in the extreme northeast of Slovenia in the middle of Prekmurje where the Goricko hills flow gently onto the Pannonian flatlands. The modern tourist and health resort complex gently blends with the green surroundings of this romantic landscape. Forty years ago at the source of the geothermal waters, a tale began in which the inhabitants of the town gradually learned that such a gift of nature would be advantageous to them only if they alone become involved in the current of development. Moravske Toplice offers the comfort of accommodation, relaxation and swimming.
The surrounding area will entice you with its charming natural environment, remains of Pannonian architecture, products of traditional trades, excellent culinary offerings, exquisite wines and truly hospitable local people.
Prekmurska Vas apartment hamlet is made up of cottages which preserves the typical elements of the architecture of Prekmurje villages, hence the name. This beautiful development of holiday apartments in Moravske Toplice, Slovenia was built approximately two years ago (advertiser has owned the apartment since March 2004) within the magnificent Terme 3000 Waterworld Spa, Health & Golf Resort. Apartment Marjetica 31 is a well equipped one bedroom apartment (sleeps four) and is available for holiday rentals. The on site reception is located 30 metres away and is open 7 days a week ensuring guests find everything with ease. The Creta bar is adjacent to the reception.
The hamlet village is made up of blocks of 12 similar style apartments and is bounded on either side by the golf course and a wooded area where the jogging / trim track is located. The area is peaceful and quiet and just the place to relax after a hectic day at the Terme 3000 water world.
The modern aquatic recreational centre Terme 3000 has the sum total water area of 5.000 m2 complete with twenty baths and swimming pools. Bathers can choose between outdoor and indoor bathing. Eleven new pools arranged on two levels offer interesting programs and attractions - a torrent, hydro-pneumatic sun beds, geysers, waterfalls, water massage, air massage, upstream swimming, swimming lanes, water currents and bubble-baths. Additionally there is a diving pool with a one-meter springboard and a three-meter springboard although the biggest attraction, is a 22 - metre platform with two water slides, 170 m and 140 m respectively, complete with audio and visual effects. TERME 3000 also features a Turkish and a Finnish sauna, a solarium, a children’s playground, various restaurants and bars. Spacious grass surfaces in the immediate neighbourhood offer plenty of cosy shade. All the facilities are available on a pay per use basis.

Travel

On arrival at Graz Airport if required a car will be waiting to take you and your party straight to the apartment at Terme 3000 (Transfer takes approx 70 minutes and costs approximately £80 return). You can arrange car hire from the airport if you prefer or alternatively arrangements can be made for a hire car to be waiting for you on your arrival at the apartment.

Skiing

Maribor Pohorje, a low mountain range whose highest peak reaches 1347 meters, is truly something special, certainly to Maribor, Slovenia’s second largest city. You can reach the gondola that runs from the valley to the ski slopes by city bus. Maribor is approximately 50 km from Moravske Toplice and can be easily reached by car, train or bus.
Snow guns and careful grooming guarantee 100 days of skiing, and when temperatures remain low enough, the trails are snow-covered all the way to the valley. The area is lit for night skiing, and its illuminated five kilometer ski run is the longest in Europe.

Golf

The design of the Golf Course at Terme 3000 embraces the fabulous nature park within which it is constructed and is ideal for golfers of all ability ranging from beginners to low handicap players. The golf course, complete with practice area and driving range, is the first of its kind in this part of Slovenia. The course itself is just a few steps away from the apartment. Further Details

The apartment is a pleasant few minutes stroll from all the facilities available at Terme 3000 where you will find twenty swimming pools and baths, water slides, saunas, solarium, shops, bars, restaurants and evening entertainment.
There is a well stocked Spar supermarket approx 5 minutes walk away which borders the complex and the village and has everything you should require. There is an Interspar hypermarket in Murska Sobota.
You can use any retaurant you wish in the complex including the ones in the Hotel Termal and the Hotel Ajda. Both these hotels have their own restaurants which you can eat in. If you want something a little more special there are two A la Carte restaurants one called 'The Tavena' in the Hotel Termal and one which name sounds like The Jakki Restaurant in The Hotel Ajda.
In Moravske Toplice you will find a more places to eat the one I like is the Siftar which is behind the church and to the left. Portions in the village restaurants are large and excellent value for money.
There is another A la Carte restaurant opened up in the village within the Hotel Vivat situated behind the Siftar, which is good as well.
If you like Chinese food there is a restaurant in Murska Sobota which again is good quality and value for money.

Booking Notes

Once you have made a reservation enquiry you will receive an email from us confirming if the dates etc. requested are available and how payment should be made. A £50.00 deposit payable within 10 days will then be required to secure your reservation. The remainder of the balance is due 10 weeks prior to your departure date.
The Prekmurska Vas Apartments reception will have your keys on arrival, and they should be returned there on your departure. Please be aware that the Slovenian Government charge a tourist tax which is one Euro per person per day. This is payable at the reception on departure.
