Langton House is a Victorian town house set in a quiet leafy tree lined road in the heart of Windsor. Built in about 1890 it was a residence for Queen Victoria's minor government officials.
We are only a short 5 minutes walk from the castle, walking through the main local shopping area which retains the Victorian charm and architecture, on the way toward the Castle entrance. Langton House is close to the Trinity church, built in the mid 1800's with money from Queen Victoria as a garrison church for the troops guarding the Royal Windsor castle. Due to the relatively short life of the troops, she wanted to ensure they had access to religion so that they might make their peace with God before they died, mostly of disease rather than active service.
Alma Road was named after the battle of Alma during the Crimean war and was the original boundary of Windsor pre 1900.
Langton House has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1979 and a family home for over 25 years. Marjorie and Roy were originally running it until 1998, when Paul (their son) and later his wife Sonja, took over the running, although Marjorie and Roy are still around on a daily basis.
We are very convenient for Legoland Windsor providing excellent family bed and breakfast accommodation as well as catering for our many business travellers in the finest bed and breakfast tradition.

Travel
Windsor is a fantastic base for exploring London and the surrounding countryside, with great transport links. Extremely convenient for Heathrow, M4, M3 and M25, with easy access to London via public transport, having two mainline train stations serving London Waterloo and London Paddington stations, as well as direct bus services to Heathrow and London. We always recommend to our guests to stay in Windsor and travel by train into London to explore the City. A cheaper and far more relaxing option.

- a valid credit card number with expiry date, security code, full name and address and telephone number
- a Sterling cheque
- Sterling traveller's cheques
We will not charge your credit card until you arrive, as we are only keeping the details as security.
Our cancellation policy is a minimum of 72 hours notice before the arrival date, (not arrival time) for a full refund. Under 72 hours we will try to re-let the room. If we are successful we will refund the deposit. This period does not include the day of arrival - so for example our cancellation policy of '72 hours' means a reservation must be cancelled at least 72hrs before midnight of the day before arrival to avoid payment of a penalty. If a cancellation is made it must be confirmed by Langton House or else the customer will still be deemed to have a confirmed booking.
